What participants had to say about this course
"This is the second training event by Pink Therapy that I have attended. Dominic and his team never fail to deliver excellent training in working with Gender and Sexual Diversity clients. I cannot recommend these workshops enough, and will be looking forward to the next event with much anticipation. Thanks Anita, for persuading Dominic to cross the water for us".
Robert Patterson BA[Hons], MBACP, Pre-Accredited Member IACP.
"I recently completed the 'Introduction to Psychosexual Therapy with Gender and Sexual Diversity Clients' training. Having worked in this area over the last number of years, l was aware of the complete lack of training available in Ireland. The workshop gave me all the tools and information I needed to discuss gender and sexual diversity issues in an honest, informative and professional manner. The course facilitators were very professional throughout and made the group feel at ease, even with sometimes challenging subject matter. l can honestly say that it was one of the best training courses that l have ever taken part in and l would encourage any professional who works in this area attend if you get the opportunity! I am already planning to attend the next course!
Alison Bough - Psychologist
BSc (Hons) Psych., MA CBT, MSc Health Psychology
I very much enjoyed the Pink Therapy Psychosexual training in Dublin. I found the training stimulating, challenging and informative. I also found the openness in the group refreshing and full of joy, that we can have these conversations in Ireland. Thank you Anita for taking the time to organise this rich event.
“Course was enlightening, challenging and very well organized”
"A really interesting and worthwhile course. No boring bits. Just useful information and an opportunity to discuss ideas and examine one's own limited attitudes etc."
"This was a really worthwhile and enjoyable two days training for working with LGBT clients. Much if the content is equally be valuable working with relational issues of straight couples. The course was very well planned with a good mix of teaching styles. Amanda and Dominic brought expertise and humour to complex and sometimes difficult subject matter. We came away with a huge amount of information regarding further reading, viewing and referring."
I would definitely recommend Pink Therapy training!
Maeve Ahern MIACP
‘I came away from the course with an enriched understanding of the dynamics at play and how they apply to the therapeutic process.’
